A message from James Grippando

My dad was a stripper. Okay, now I've got your attention. Actually, he was a printer for almost thirty years, and the technical term for his skill was —I kid you not— "stripper." My mother was a teacher and later a published author. With that combination, perhaps writing was in my genes.

I write thrillers, and Need You Now is the nineteenth in a string of bestsellers that started with The Pardon in 1994. Nine of my novels feature Miami criminal defense lawyer Jack Swyteck, but Need You Now is something completely different. Set on Wall Street. Need You Now takes readers into a world where "financial wars" aren't just about money. Fans of the series won't feel left out. FBI Agent Andie Henning, who first appeared in (Under Cover of Darkness) and is now a regular in the Swyteck series, is back again-without Jack, but with plenty else to worry about.
